RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Junior Accountant in IJmuiden, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting team. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
• Recording bank journals and preparing payment proposals.
• Monitoring cash position and handling fund requests.
• Tracking and reconciling balances of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax declarations (e.g., VAT and others).
• Performing general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to gather necessary information.
• Providing administrative support, including preparing SOX control reports, monitoring balance accounts, aiding in audit processes, and contributing to ad-hoc projects.
