Role Summary: The Junior Accountant role will support the Company’s financial reporting, accounting operations, and growth initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other corporate departments to ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This would be a great opportunity for a recent Graduate or someone early in their career. Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: * Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. * Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. * Support the annual financial audit. * Maintain up-to-date financial records and prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed. * Assist with quarterly reviews, interim and year-end external audits. * Special projects and other assigned duties. Essential Skills and Competencies: * Experience with general ledger reporting systems and financial statement preparation * In-depth understanding of account reconciliations and GAAP principles * Understanding of debits and credits supporting recorded transactions * Proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite * Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability * Effective time management and organizational skills required to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions to identified issues * Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are a must * Education or Certification required: * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Candidates with general business degrees and a concentration of accounting courses will be considered. * 0-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
