Description

ABOUT US

At Talbot & Associates (T&A), we’re not your typical accounting firm. Founded right here in Manitoba in 1991, we’ve been making numbers look good — and making clients smile — for over 30 years. We’re a bilingual (French/English) team of 90+ amazing humans who treat each other like family, share knowledge generously, and believe work should be rewarding and enjoyable. We take pride in helping our team members live their dreams, whether that’s advancing in their career, developing new skills, or simply enjoying life outside of work.
We’re excited to welcome a motivated Junior Accountant to our team in a full-time, permanent role as a member of our Agriculture Team. If you’re looking for a positive workplace, and the chance to make a real impact every day, this is the perfect opportunity.
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with foundational accounting knowledge who are eager to build their careers in public practice accounting. You will work closely with senior team members to maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely processing of transactions, and assist in financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner, highly organized, and excited to contribute to a team that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month-end processes, and more. It’s a great opportunity to apply your education, grow your technical skills, and gain experience in a supportive environment where mentorship and professional development are encouraged. Whether you’re pursuing your CPA designation or simply looking to gain experience in a thriving and collaborative workplace, this role offers the foundation to launch your career in accounting.
