As demand for trustworthy, high-quality short-term rentals continues to rise, TravelStaytion stands out by combining cutting-edge technology with a curated network of professionals—ensuring every stay meets the expectations of today’s discerning traveler Duties & Responsibilities: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounting and Finance Associate with 1–2 years of experience, ideally in bookkeeping or accounting support, to join our finance team. This role is centered around reconciliation activities and offers exposure to a wide range of financial operations Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier statements, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process payments to partners, external collaborators, and suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation against invoices. Assist in preparing financial reports, including expense and payment summaries, with a focus on reconciling discrepancies. Coordinate with external accounting offices to gather invoices, verify entries, and align payment schedules with reconciled data. Manage invoice processing via Oxygen (GR) and Xero (UK), ensuring all entries are reconciled with payment records. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice or payment disputes and ensure reconciled outcomes. Support intercompany transaction processing, ensuring all entries are matched and reconciled across entities. Maintain accurate records for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, with a strong emphasis on reconciliation tracking. Submit financial data for internal reviews, ensuring reconciled figures are presented. Apply C' Category Bookkeeping experience to support reconciliation and general ledger accuracy. Handle ad-hoc finance tasks as needed, contributing to operational efficiency and reconciled reporting. 1+ year experience within an organized accounting team, preferable within the hospitality industry Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration. A Master's Degree from a prominent Greek or International University will be considered a strong plus.
