WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone who is ready to kickstart their accounting career. It’s a fast-paced environment and requires someone who has strong technical capability, proven attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. We’re also looking for someone with:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or accounting, or relevant
- Strong numerical skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in a finance or similar role (desirable)
- Commencement of steps to attain a CA/CPA qualification or similar (desirable)
- Experience working in accounting, accounts payable or accounts receivable (desirable)
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and adjusting the assignment of transactions to appropriate accounts and business units.
- Provide internal stakeholders with timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and representation of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Oversee balance sheet and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance.
- Prepare and communicate analysis of financial performance in an effectively and efficient manner.
- Provide support to other members of the accounting team to ensure materially accurate accounts are maintained
