Vanguard Logistics are currently seeking an industry experienced Junior Accountant to join our Sydney team. The successful candidate will have prior experience in freight forwarding Accounts, preferably in both AR & AP functions.

As the Junior Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and payable, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements .

Allocate & distribute unprocessed vendor invoices to relevant branch for processing

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
• Help with payroll processing as required
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with policies
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities
• Provide administrative and reporting support to the Finance Manager
