Wayne Tile is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist in preparing financial reports, and ensure accuracy in financial records. This role is perfect for someone early in their accounting career and eager to grow in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation
  • Prepare basic financial reports and analysis for management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Support audits by providing necessary documents and explanations
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial data collection

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred), double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (Epicore) is a plus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial data
