POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in public accounting, learn directly from experienced firm managers, and work with a diverse client base.

• Keep client books tidy and up-to-date in QuickBooks, Excel and other platforms by categorizing transactions, completing month-end/year-end close procedures
• Prepare journal entries, fixed assets and other schedules as needed
• Assist with workers compensation audits, financial reviews, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and company policies
• Communicate with clients to gather information and keep them in the loop
• Assist Senior Management and Tax Department as needed
