THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Vancouver.

This is an excellent prospect for an accounting professional who wants to develop beyond routine accounting and gain broader exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, sales analysis, vendor and customer rebates, consignment payments, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working with multiple departments in a fast-paced business environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice processing, payments, customer receipts, credits, and reconciliations.

- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and assist with general ledger reconciliations.

- Prepare monthly consignment payment calculations and supporting documentation.

- Prepare monthly AR and Sales reports
