SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This entry-level position will provide support with daily accounting functions, including data entry, reconciliations, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform assigned reconciliations and monitor outstanding items
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships welcome)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
