WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• A keen interest in finance and accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good numerical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous experience or a qualification in accounting is beneficial but not essential
• Experience with Sage 200 would also be beneficial but again not essential

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our busy accounts department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their finance career to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports
• Helping to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as required
