We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Administration Assistant to join our team in our Sydney office.

About the team and the work

  • Join the wider KM team in driving knowledge creation and continuous process improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on AI, Sparke Helmore aims to ensure that our clients and lawyers benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of the whole organisation.
  • Working directly with the Research & Training team, you will be supporting in the coordination of resources to deliver specific KM activities and projects, including pilots, testing of automation / AI solutions, as required.
  • With a focus on legal research, your tasks will include loose-leaf filing, cataloguing, maintaining physical libraries and updating the intranet.
  • In terms of culture, the team is collegiate, collaborative, and energetic; flexible work arrangements are in place and are encouraged!

About you

  • You will be developing skills in legal research and/or information management and ideally some exposure to using research tools and databases.
  • To support you as you learn, you will have high level computer skills, high level written, and verbal communication skills for this role.
  • Our ideal candidate will be available 5 days a week but suitable candidates seeking part-time hours will be considered.
  • If you are a current student in a relatable field such as library/information systems or business in your 4th or final year we strongly encourage you to apply.
