This is an ideal position for a new college graduate who is looking for a position that is going to be challenging, demands high performance, but will give them hands-on experience working with big data and financial analytics. Responsibilities Acquire new data and maintain existing data through website research Work with data and product departments to ensure data completeness and integrity Complete daily research deliverables Effectively utilize proprietary databases and the Internet to complete research Perform data quality assurance: identifying and analyzing data quality issues Work collaboratively with team members both in the Philippines and in the U.S. Support relevant process improvement and technology projects by contributing to specifications and testing deliverables. Help maintain documentation of work processes and institutional knowledge in a centralized, web-based database. Participate in a variety of other data management initiatives and assist on special projects as assigned Qualifications Training & Experience Bachelor’s degree graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or any closely related field (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply). Strong verbal and written communication skills; can thrive in a cross-border / multi-cultural work environment. Experience working with any of the following would be a plus: Strong analytical skills to help interpret and aid in translation of industry data Ability to take initiative to research and find a solution to presented or unidentified issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other technical abilities preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines Self-motivated/starter with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and documentation skills Working knowledge and understanding of the financial services and insurance industries a plus Experience using Excel to manipulate and prepare financial data a plus Work Location & Schedule: Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent late day shift schedule (12 noon – 9 pm Manila Time) Amenable to go on a 2-month onsite training prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement.
