This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who’s passionate about technology, data, and problem solving and who wants to learn how modern data platforms and digital systems come together to create great customer experiences. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to support the design, build, and improvement of our data platform. You’ll learn how to translate business needs into technical stories, support testing and delivery, and contribute to real projects that help drive smarter decisions and better outcomes for Kiwibank and our customers. Key role responsibilities: Support the gathering and analysis of business and technical requirements alongside senior analysts Help translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria Assist in preparing documentation such as process maps, use cases, and workflow diagrams Contribute to testing activities to ensure systems meet business needs and technical standards Learn how to use Agile tools and practices to plan, deliver, and review work within a data squad Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery Ko tātou tēnei. Key skills and experience we’re looking for: A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and systems. Good communication and teamwork skills — someone who enjoys collaborating with others.
