Responsibilities & Qualifications:

The Applications Developer is expected to be able to:

  • Ensure architectural integrity of software solutions by following industry best practices, software standards, software design patterns and established SOPs.
  • Maintain software architecture documentation of systems, applications, databases, integration, and architectural standards.
  • Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming application activities.
  • Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.
  • Develop architectural solutions based on product specifications to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
  • Writes business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions.
  • Develops statements of problems, designs systems and programs, and writes programs incomputer language for solution by means of data processing equipment.
  • Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
  • Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Coordinate with software engineering teams to develop and implement software solutions. Mentor, encourage, and motivate team members.
  • Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
  • Develops and recommends corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. Develop best practices to ensure software functionality, usability, reliability, and availability.
  • Maintain consistency across the software environments, development practices, and automation by maintaining quality.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure a high-quality product platform.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance + CI Polygraph
  • US Citizen
  • Evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement.
  • 6 years of web application experience with an extensive experience in architecting, developing, implementing database and Microsoft .NET Technologies and SharePoint.
  • Mandatory experience in Node.js with Typescript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
  • Strong understanding of requirements analysis, testing, automation, object-oriented design and programming, web application architecture and relational database design.
  • Experience as an applications programmer on large-scale data base management systems.
  • Strong proficiency in MVC development and EF data handling. Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP, Microservices and API design for extensibility and portability.
  • Microsoft .NET Stack (10+ years minimum experience).
  • Deep understanding of the distributed data model, SQL Server programming and emerging web and backend development models
  • Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database is required. Experience debugging distributed systems with high data loads
  • Experience with highly scalable projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
  • Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production ready software
  • Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development and automation. Experience working with ALM tools such as Jira, Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies and various source control systems.

HIGHLY DESIRED

  • Experience in JSON, Java, Java Script, SharePoint, XML, VBAs, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, SQLExperience and Expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Platform features, Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents.
