Lux et Veritas Design is a collaborative studio of professional lighting designers focused on ensuring excellence in lighting. We are seeking a Junior Lighting Designer to join our creative team and assist with lighting design for a variety of project types.
The successful candidate will have familiarity with drawing production, specification writing, detailing, calculations, presentations, renderings and a passion for design.
Tasks include: Providing assistance with project management, design analysis, specification and cut sheet development, field coordination, 3-D visualization, calculations, schedules, controls, budget estimating, submittal review, and developing presentations.
Education/Experience: A Bachelors’ degree in Architectural Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design. Engineering, and preferably 1 year of experience in the field of architectural lighting design is desired; or equivalent combination of related education or experience.
Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam Revu and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Sketchup and Rhino is a plus. Experience with AGi32 is preferred, but not a prerequisite. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines.
