Description

SKILL SET REQUIRED:

· 1+ years’ experience
· Preferably a National Diploma in a design/creative course, or similar but solid portfolio essential
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
· Strong communication skills
· A good understanding of typography, space and layout
· A good understanding of the print production process
· Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
· Comfortable in interpreting brand guidelines across multiple design disciplines.
· Exceptional personal time management skills, identifying key priorities and shifting focus accordingly
· Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines across multiple projects as required and comfortable receiving task/project feedback
· Good understanding & working knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel & Word
· Experience of working with online FTP files sharing sites
· Experience with Project management tools (such as Wrike, Monday, Trello)
· Eager to learn with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
· Highly organised, efficient and quality driven
· Comfortable using PC

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will join a highly creative and fast-moving internal studio producing materials vital to the success of our marketing to customers and consumers alike. Your skills will be used to produce brochures, POS, adverts and packaging. We’re looking for a self starter who can work independently and is willing to work at a consistently fast pace to keep up with the demanding schedule. The role is ideal for someone early in their creative career looking to improve their design craft and has a positive attitude – willing to get stuck in whatever the project be it a total brand re-design or a humble flyer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Accurately create print-ready and digital artwork utilising existing design templates for catalogues, brochures, flyers, point of sale, labels, packaging, adverts & event material
· Ensure all artwork adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different mediums and platforms to ensure consistent presentation of the brands
· Prepare and manage artwork files for print production and digital production, ensuring accuracy, quality control, version control and file naming
· Producing brochure and catalogues using our database publishing solution (Easy Catalog)
· Collaborate with the Graphic Designers, Head of Creative Studio, NPD and the Marketing team to meet project needs and deliverables
· Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to collate and deliver artwork
· Action artwork amends across all stages of sign-off
· Liaising with supplier and printers to provide print ready files
· Image retouching, including lifestyle roomsets and product cutouts
· Source, update and organise product imagery for the photo library and the DAM via the PIM system
· Attend selected internal creative review workshops to better understand the brand visual direction and how artwork production supports the brand execution
· Ensure project/task status are kept up to date using project management software (Wrike)
