JOB DESCRIPTION:

STORM is a busy technical event company, working with many financial corporate clients. We operate from one main warehouse as well as other smaller storage spaces in Peterborough, delivering events to mainly London based clients but others nationwide. We produce all aspects of the event from the technical kit and staging through to bespoke printing and stage elements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join STORM Events as an Junior Artworker.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Art Worker to join our creative team. This role involves taking creative concepts and preparing them for print or digital production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance across all materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and roll out design assets across multiple formats and platforms (print, digital, packaging, POS, etc.)
  • Prepare artwork for final delivery, ensuring files are print-ready or optimised for digital use
  • Check and amend typography, layout, colours, image resolution, and technical specifications
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and templates
  • Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding specifications and file formats
  • Support the creative team with layout and mock-up creation
  • Perform quality control on artwork before production or publishing
  • Organise and manage art files and assets efficiently

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong eye for detail, layout, and typography
  • Understanding of pre-press processes and print production
  • Basic knowledge of digital artwork requirements (web and social media formats)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior team members
  • Understanding of corporate brands guidance and application to design

Desirable:

  • Experience in packaging, retail, or marketing environments
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, HTML, or digital publishing tools
  • Understanding of accessibility and localisation best practices
