HÉ PANNEKOEK!

PANCAKES Amsterdam currently has five restaurants and an office located in Amsterdam city centre. With so many locations, no day is ever the same with us! We serve the most delicious and surprising pancakes and use local and free range ingredients whenever possible. We are looking for a Junior Assistant Manager to join our team!
As Junior Assistant Manager, you will work in our lively restaurants, where full tables and a quick turnaround are the norm (yes, you will reach those 10,000 steps with ease!). You will manage the daily operations and make sure everything runs smoothly. You will also report directly to the Location Manager and work in a friendly, international team.
Bonus: our working hours don’t go late into the night - you’ll be finished by 20:00 at the latest!
PS. Besides our love for pancakes, we also have a very big heart for the city. We love a joke and with our ‘Hey PANNEKOEK!’ campaign we contribute to a hospitable and liveable city. An initiative full of humour and Amsterdam flair, aimed at clean and cosy Amsterdam - for locals and tourists alike.

• You ensure that the shift runs smoothly and that your team knows exactly what is expected of them.
• You provide timely input for staff planning so that it is always up to date.
• You resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and professionally - no one leaves dissatisfied!
• The stock? Always in order. You keep track of what is needed and ensure that orders are placed on time.
• You proactively identify where work processes can be improved and look for smart solutions together with your team.
• You are hands-on on the floor and take the lead.
