In this role, you will drive agile delivery, foster collaboration, and coach teams to achieve excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Partnering closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders, you will drive transparency, predictability, and continuous improvement, ensuring value delivery at scale. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, IT, Agile Practices Lead you will: Delivery & Planning: Support Product Owners in maintaining transparent and up-to-date objectives, backlogs, and release plans. Facilitate and time-box Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) to keep teams focused, engaged, and aligned with sprint goals. Coordinate releases and deployments across multiple teams, ensuring dependencies are managed and resources allocated. Coaching & Leadership: Coach teams on self-management, cross-functionality, and agile best practices. Foster a high-trust environment where teams feel safe to innovate and validate assumptions. Organize and lead workshops on Agile/Scrum concepts to promote learning and adoption. Process Improvement & Metrics: Capture and analyse agile metrics to provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement. Contribute to Agile Chapter initiatives by sharing ideas, preparing curriculum, and supporting organizational agile awareness. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Product Owners to develop product plans and roadmaps, driving features from ideation to launch. Manage and coordinate inter-team dependencies to enable seamless delivery. Collaborate with teams to identify, refine, prioritize, and plan dependencies for efficient execution and timely outcomes. Technical Awareness: Develop a strong understanding of the technical aspects of products, including architecture, codebase, and integration points to effectively remove impediments and facilitate informed, productive discussions. #LI-Hybrid Qualifications You Have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 3 years for a software development team that was applying Scrum principles and practices Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Knowledge of various well-documented agile patterns and practices (e.g.: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, estimation techniques) Strong understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments Experience in using Jira and Confluence Preferred: Experience in financial services or banking preferred Relevant certifications will be considered as a plus Appetite to take ownership of several initiatives Good appreciation of current market trends (Cloud, Data Analytics, AI, Emerging Technologies etc.) and how these are likely to impact key industry players Dedication to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team If you have a genuine desire to help businesses achieve their full potential, this role is for you.
