Junior Associate ‐ Finance Operations ‐ ITP (Based at Malabe) MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization. Key Responsibilities: Carry out credit payable activities and ensure proper mechanisms are put in place to settle money within the set credit period. Achieve monthly targets for Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt and advances in assigned SBUs in order to meet organizational demands. Support team with audit requirements and ensure they are fulfilled to meet business demands. Prepare any ad hoc reports / analysis as requested and facilitate informed decision making within the organization. Perform additional duties that commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management. Ensure necessary actions are taken to follow-up and clear outstanding work cycles. Ensure timely & accurate payment processing for assigned SBUs (Strategic Business Units). Ensure timely & accurate liability booking for assigned SBUs (Strategic Business Units). Skills and Qualifications: Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Finance, Finance & Accounting, or Management, or a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent qualification. Willingness and ability to work during US working hours (2pm – 11pm) and Ability to work on Sri Lankan holidays. 6 months’ experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis would be an added advantage. Proficiency in Excel Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
