We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Audit Accountant to join our excellent client in High Point. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with audits, and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in auditing and financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, internships considered.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $64,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
  • Help maintain the general ledger and post journal entries.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist in preparing tax filings and financial statements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external auditors.
