The ABAP Kernel Brno team is responsible for key infrastructure components delivered with the ABAP Kernel which are required to efficiently operate and monitor the ABAP platform, e.g., in a cloud environment. The team consists of highly motivated developers located in our labs in Brno and works closely with the teams in Walldorf (Germany).
You will be part of a diverse and agile scrum team, collaborating with passionate and engaged co-developers. Your involvement will span the complete product life cycle, taking responsibility for the components you work on, ensuring they align with our quality standards and objectives.
In this position, you will work with the SOAP Web Services Framework within ABAP onPrem and ABAP Cloud Environment. You’ll delve into the intricacies of the ABAP SOAP runtime, which relies on official standards like SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, and WS-RM. The maintenance and improvement of tools for monitoring and the lifecycle management of (asynchronous) SOAP messages will be part of you daily work. Furthermore, you will contribute to the ABAP proxy framework and their runtime configuration.
