Description

Haiilo is a leading employee communications and engagement platform that empowers companies to foster a more connected, engaged, and aligned workforce. Our solutions enable businesses to streamline internal communications, enhance employee advocacy, and boost overall company culture. We make it easy for over 1000 organisations to share important information, measure engagement, and amplify employee voices.
You’ve already dipped your toes into backend development — maybe during your first full-time job, internship, or uni assignment — and now you’re looking for your first and next real challenge in the tech world? Perfect.
We’re looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our Analytics Team — the part of our product where everything revolves around data, insights, and turning usage patterns into real product value. You’ll help us understand how people actually use our communication platform — not by guessing, but by building smart tools and scalable infrastructure that makes sense of the data.
No boring maintenance tasks here — you’ll be part of a small, skilled team that builds features from scratch, improves the data pipeline, and has a say in how things are built and shipped. It is your chance to enter an already grown and successful company while being able to still leave your visible footprint.

Responsibilities
  • Build real stuff from day one: You’ll work on actual features that ship — not just “junior tasks”. You’ll write backend code that powers key parts of our analytics product
  • Shape how we work with data: Help improve how we collect, process, and serve usage data from our platform — especially in our PostgreSQL data pipeline
  • Be part of the product thinking: Join feature planning sessions, share your ideas, ask questions, and learn how great product decisions are made
  • Learn by doing (with support): You’ll pair with experienced engineers, get code reviews, and have people around you who are excited to help you grow
  • Own your code: You won’t just write code — you’ll help test it, monitor it, and keep it running smoothly in production. That’s how we all learn
