Responsibilities

Are you a persuasive and talented writer with a sharp eye for detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a keen desire to collaborate with a diverse team? We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to begin a career with ProFM Group as a Junior Bid Writer.
The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is confident engaging with others to gather insights, plan responses, and shape compelling narratives. Our ideal candidate will understand the role that intelligent, insightful, and well-written content plays in securing that next major deal, and how what they write can help pave the way for future successes.
Working as part of a supportive Sales and Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in producing persuasive, high-quality written content for bids and proposals across a variety of sectors. That’s all in line with achieving our ambitious growth targets and expanding our client base.
You’ll need excellent writing skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to adapt your tone and messaging for different audiences. Prior experience in working with B2B communications would be ideal, but isn’t a necessity for this position.
This is more than just a writing role; it’s a chance to contribute to the development of creative, customer-focused solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit high-quality, compelling bid responses in line with tender requirements, industry standards, and deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to input, refine, plan, and shape responses.
Ensure all written content aligns with key industry themes, bid scoring criteria, and the overarching ProFM brand guidelines.
Adapt and rework existing content to meet bespoke bid specifications and ensure a consistent tone of voice and adherence to brand guidelines.
Proactively using AI tools and software to support response development and content refinement.
Support the creation of case studies and model answers for the bid library during quieter bid periods.
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of bid progress and outcomes, and actively engaging with vendors to secure favourable terms and costs.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our bid processes, driving innovation in our approach to security service bidding.
Assist with ad-hoc creative copywriting tasks where required.
