ABOUT US:

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk to join our finance team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role will support our accounting department with daily administrative and bookkeeping tasks. You will assist in processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, organizing documents, and supporting the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration
  • Diploma or coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the trucking or logistics industry is an asset (but not required)
Responsibilities
  • Assist with data entry of invoices, bills, and payments
  • Organize and track PODs and expense submissions
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with administrative tasks
  • Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve invoice or document issues
  • Perform basic reconciliations and bank transaction logging
  • Other accounting support tasks as assigned by the Controller or Senior Accountant
