Raw Material Cover is a fast-growing, sector-specialist insurance brokerage serving the UK’s waste and recycling industry. We’re looking for a motivated and confident Junior Broker Development Executive to join our team — the ideal entry point for someone who wants to learn the ropes and work their way into a broking career.
You’ll support the business development pipeline, learn from experienced brokers, and help drive growth in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

WHO THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR

This role is ideal for someone who has 1–2 years of experience in a sales environment — whether that’s outbound calling, telesales, a call centre, or another customer-facing role — and is now ready to take the next step in their career.

You might have:

• Worked in a call centre handling outbound or inbound sales
• Been part of a retail or telesales team and want to move into B2B
• Tried sales and want a role with real career progression and development

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Prospecting new business via phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Qualifying inbound leads and booking discovery calls for brokers
• Supporting the preparation of insurance proposals and presentations
• Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline records
• Researching industries, businesses, and risks
• Shadowing senior team members to learn the end-to-end broking process
