JOB SUMMARY:
The Junior Build Room Technician will assist in the setup, maintenance, and organisation of the build room to ensure smooth operations. The role involves working closely with engineers, senior technicians, and project managers to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic components. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to grow in a technical environment while gaining hands-on experience.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational Background:
- GCSEs or equivalent required; a technical qualification or diploma in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic tools and components.
- Familiarity with basic testing equipment such as multi meters or callipers is an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.

Pay: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Testing
- Support the assembly of products, and components under supervision.
- Conduct basic testing and quality checks following detailed instructions.
- Assist in documenting assembly procedures and results.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Help diagnose and resolve minor issues with mechanical or electronic components.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to carry out repairs.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the build room remains compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assist in keeping the work area clean and hazard-free.
- Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with engineers and senior staff to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Provide general support to team members during the assembly and testing phases.
