EIS is looking for a junior software Business Analyst to work in the Product & Technology group as part of the Billing and Financials Team to help build and enhance the insurance solutions platform. A successful candidate will be a naturally-curious and detail-oriented problem solver who is able to understand the business requirements and translate into well defined functional specifications for software implementation.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Experience designing and delivering Reporting and Analytic solutions using Sisense, Microsoft Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience in Data Analytics
  • Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
  • Curiosity and passion for data, visualization, and solving problems
  • Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data
  • Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data, and assumption
  • Must have 1+ years hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Programmer-Analyst
  • Must have understanding of Agile delivery environment
  • Must be familiar with commonly used business analysis techniques (e.g. Business Process models, Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams etc.) following Unified Modelling Language (UML) or equivalent standards and notations
  • Working knowledge of written and verbal English
Responsibilities
  • Hands-on business analysis activities following the Product Strategy, market trends and clients’ business needs
  • Crafting the business analysis artefacts
  • Collaboration with architects, strategists, Product & Program managers, Agile Teams, Community of Practice Leads and other stakeholders through the Agile delivery lifecycle
  • Contributing ideas and suggestions for the possible improvement of product
  • Conduct Product demos, requirements analysis and feedback sessions with EIS Professional Services organization, Partners-System Integrators, Clients
