Within the Sales department, the Business Developer plays an essential role in acquiring new customers and closing sales. Working exclusively with inbound leads (no prospecting required), he/she will qualify requests, handle the customer’s inquiry with rigor and agility, redefine needs, prepare quotes and accompany the customer through to the sale. At Steel Shed Solutions, the entire sales process is carried out remotely, giving the Business Developer an important advisory role.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from discovery through to closing. Your main missions will be to:

Engage with prospects through inbound inquiries (e-mail, telephone) to understand their challenges and identify needs that align with Steel Shed Solutions’ product range;

  • Listen actively to customers and proactively propose solutions that best meet their requirements while creating a bond of trust;
  • Conduct commercial negotiations: producing quotes, setting prices and deadlines, applying promotions, upselling, closing the sale and managing order entry;
  • Provide regular activity reporting within our CRM;

    • Relay customer needs internally to adapt the offer to emerging market demands.
