We’re looking for committed Business Development Executive/Junior Executives who can find a match between advertisers and our readers. We’re looking for an excellent, driven Business Development Executive/Junior Executive that can develop our business further. It is also fairly important that you are a foodie, and have a good network within the F&B and lifestyle industry.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience within Business Development/New Business or Account Management role
  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, an individual who thrives on working autonomously
  • Experience working in a marketing/agency/ media environment and understanding of (and passion for) the industry
  • The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects
  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of business products, value proposition
  • Craft business proposals
  • Identify areas for expansion, business strengths and customer needs
  • Research on business opportunities, profitable channels and streams
  • Develop both short-term and long-term business strategies
  • Create weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management and end of month reports on revenue and market performance
  • Deliver against these targets to ensure revenue expectations are met
  • Work closely with the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects
  • Provide input for sales and marketing collateral – how the business positions itself for various audiences
  • Maximise networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts
