Description
Contribute to the planning and execution of operational processes. Work with team members to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency. Propose improvements within their team and related peer teams. Exercise judgment on significant business issues. Assist in resource allocation and program execution. Provide continuous feedback to inform business processes and decisions. Provide direct support to the office of the SVP such as handling time-sensitive requests, gather information for executive decision-making, preparing briefing materials, coordinate meetings with engineering leads, and manage ad-hoc projects that require quick turnaround. Provide support for ongoing business operations activities including reporting, data analysis, dashboard creation, and ad-hoc projects. Process Improvement and Systems Automation Support the team in identifying opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide visibility into operational metrics, supporting decision-making across the engineering organization. 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent graduate or within 2 years of graduation with a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Strong problem-solving abilities with comfort working with data. Experience with Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation. Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus. Technical Aptitude Comfortable learning new systems quickly. Experience with Office 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate) and/or Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is beneficial but not required. Collaboration Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with diverse groups, particularly engineering teams. Experience with business process modeling or workflow automation tools Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Previous internship or project experience in business operations, consulting, or process improvement Knowledge of change management principles Understanding of software development lifecycles and engineering operations
