Brooksource is hiring an entry level Business Systems Analyst to join our Banking Client’s team. You will be part of a larger team to to aid the elicitation, analysis, creation, and validation of epics, features, and user stories and provide support during release events that support the client’s customers and colleagues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Systems, Business Analytics, or Related Field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Strong technical writing skills.
Experience writing simple SQL statements.
Experience writing user stories.
Experience creating data maps.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.
Ability to translate technology into relatable concepts for business partners and stakeholders.
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tool.
Experience with Visio or other process mapping tools.
Experience in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate epics, features, and user stories.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Run stories on Azure DevOps Board for the team.
Aid in the triage of defects during testing cycles.
Develop and update documentation to support new/changes to procedures.
Work with the team to respond and answer questions generated by team members and business partners.
Act as a liaison between business units and the development team.
