Additionally, it’s a bonus if you meet the following profile, but don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t check every box. Our future Junior Business Unit Controller has a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, such as Project Controller or Assistant (Financial) Controller, ideally within a project-based organization

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly P&L statements, project overviews, and sales forecasts (currently for a big part in excel)
  • Support monthly performance reviews, preparing data for Monthly Business Review meetings
  • Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting, working closely with Business Unit Controller, Sales and Operations to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
  • Conduct analysis of (project) performance, providing insights and feedback to Sales and Operations, comparing actual results to budgets and previous years, to identify variances, risks, and opportunities and perform cost control activities
  • Actively contribute to ongoing business improvements and process optimizations
  • Support the SAP transition
  • Provide financial operations support, including guidance for Operations, assistance with investment requests and support for ad hoc projects
