JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Buyer will work with the ecommerce team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory for our online division at RMS International.
The role involves assisting with supplier negotiations, analysing market trends, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining product quality and timely delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 0-2 years of experience in procurement, retail, or supply chain (entry-level candidates welcome).
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Basic understanding of negotiation and supplier relationship management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
· Passion for toys and understanding of the retail toy market is a plus.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to avoid stockouts or overstock.
· Follow latest trends within the business and in the wider retail landscape.
· Gain a full understanding of internal processes and software.
· Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for toys and related products.
· Support negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
· Collaborate with the sales team to align product offerings with promotions.
· Ensure all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
· Provide administrative support for purchase orders and invoice processing.
