JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist in the purchasing process, ensuring that materials and products are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining our supply chain operations and supporting the overall business objectives.
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders from MRP, negotiating with
suppliers, tracking orders, and liaising with inventory teams and management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

  • HS Diploma or GED is required
  • Any Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
  • Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best

pricing.

  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
  • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team, management, and stockroom as

required.

  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to

suppliers and management.

  • Handle outside processing.
  • Disposition NCRs on time.
  • Coordinate with accounting for supplier payments / resolutions etc
