Position Summary: This role will handle the purchasing of all MRO and other non-inventory purchases along with caring for some of the internal purchasing administration responsibilities as requested by the Purchasing Manager.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior office experience or Purchasing experience is required
• Strong PC skills and intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
• Good organizational skills
• Demonstrates flexibility in a high-paced environment
• Good conflict resolution ability

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Clearwater, FL 3376

• Daily placement of MRO purchases (most purchases are on-line credit card purchases)
• Management of receipts and identifying the corresponding GL account to be used
• Handling RFQ’s as necessary to ensure best total value
• Expediting late or critical MRO purchases
• Logging credit card purchase information into the MRO file/insuring that Purchase Requisitions are properly stored in the MRO files.
• Managing the return process on MRO purchases that were shipped in error
• Tracking shipments when requested to do so
• Generating shop purchase orders
• Assisting other Purchasing Team members by expediting late PO’s
• Participation in Purchasing Meetings and Vendor meetings when requested.
