JUNIOR FOOD BUYER

foodservice supplier, is seeking a passionate Junior Food Buyer to join our team in Carambola, Limerick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that prides itself on providing the highest quality school meals. The successful candidate will join our procurement department leaning buying support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min 2 years experience in Sage/CEM 200 software
• Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Passion for food is essential.

• Be a support function to the procurement department in dealing with supplier’s day to day.
• Compiling information for supplier approval and product set up.
• Aid the Buyer and
• Account Management Team in the planning and execution of seasonal launches and brochures.
• Assist with range reviews, benchmarking, and tenders.
• Solve pricing queries from suppliers and assist the accounts department with invoice matching queries.
• Support the Sales team with general queries on range and price.
• Work closely with the Stock Replenishment team to avoid shortages and assist with Supplier delivery issues.
• Maintain supplier contracts ensuring that all agreements are in writing and on file.
