VE Solutions is looking for a Junior Buyer who’s excited to jump into the world of procurement and supply chain management. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our purchasing and operations teams to keep materials flowing, orders moving, and production on track. Requirements What You’ll Be Doing Think of this role as the backbone of our purchasing process. You’ll: Help place, track, and manage purchase orders for assigned materials and components Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning decisions Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates, and resolve basic issues Partner with operations to support production schedules and customer orders Review reports, validate lead times, and update purchase order confirmations Keep accurate records in NetSuite (delivery dates, costs, part info—you’ll become a pro) Assist with return material authorizations (RMAs) and supplier coordination Support new part number setup and updates to cost and pricing data Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice and PO discrepancies Assist with sourcing and quoting parts alongside the Purchasing Supervisor Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to make our processes even better What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills Comfortable using Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) Clear written and verbal communication skills A positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to learn ERP experience (NetSuite is a plus, not a must) Coursework or a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred Experience 1–2 years in purchasing, procurement, or an administrative support role preferred Internship or co-op experience in supply chain?
