Transport Enterprises are highly respected and recognised as one of the UK’s market leaders in the manufacture and fabrication of drawbars, dry freight box vans and plant vehicles. As well as drop sides, flatbeds, curtainsiders and demountable systems.
We currently require a Junior CAD Design Engineer to assist production with providing the technical and engineering resource to support the company’s sales and manufacturing activities, whilst collaborating with the wider workforce.
The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the design and development of fabrication works using CAD - 3D & 2D.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Assist senior CAD designers in creating and modifying 2D and 3D models using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and specification
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and construction purposes
• Conduct quality checks on CAD models to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards
• Support the design team in generating innovative solutions and improving design processes
• Assist with general office administration.
• Carry out other duties as required.

• Knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering principles, and manufacturing processes
• Driving licence desirable although not essential
• Motor trade or engineering background desirable however not essential.
• Must be Health & Safety Conscious.

Note: This is a junior-level position, so candidates with limited experience or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge in CAD design.

Pay: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
