Description

We are recruiting for Junior Cargo Operations Agent for Hyderabad, India. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing cargo operational functions including interaction with GHA for both import and export cargo. Secure proper operational support to enable station to meet the cargo targets. Identify needs and suggest improvements for the cargo service and the operational performance of the station. Accountabilities: · Liaising with local GHA to ensure a high-quality service is provided. · Support Import customers for clearance of their cargo. Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate smooth and timely clearance in coordination with HQ and/or origin stations for the necessary support. · Coordination with Cargo Claims team at HQ to handle discrepancies at stations and provide any administrative assistance needed. · To disseminate all cargo related information to update customers on customs, governmental and health authorities’ regulations, as well as HQ circulars to ensure full compliance to avoid penalties. · Ensure cargo arrival notifications are officially sent to Freight Forwarders and Agents to ensure the cargo does not stay under the Airline’s custody for long period to avoid damages and demurrage charges. · Assist in preparing operational reports when required. · Preparation of system accounting updates on every flight departure Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills.
