Description

We have an opportunity for a Junior Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Perth office. Reporting to the CAD Team Lead, the Junior Civil Designer will contribute to delivering design/drafting solutions for a variety of land, urban and subdivision projects. Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive. The role Providing technical input as per the scope of work to undertake designs in accordance with current technical standards, DA conditions, Council and local authority requirements. Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients Fulfilling administrative requirements for the project as required from time to time by the Project Manager, such as the description of service performed in a particular period for inclusion in fee accounts. Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping Performing various duties from time to time in relation to a project as defined by the Design Lead, Project Manager, Engineering Manager or 2IC. About you Base salary between $75,000 and $85,000 Min 2 years Civil Designer experience within a consulting environment Completed Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Demonstrated experience using 12D software Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
