We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Civil Engineer to join our team on projects across Dublin and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Assist with setting out and site engineering duties, developing accuracy and efficiency in dimensional control.
Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and specifications on-site.
Maintain accurate records for Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality Control requirements.
Ensure all activities are carried out with a strong focus on Health & Safety compliance.
Liaise effectively with Senior Engineers, site staff, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Assist with technical and design problem-solving, working to strict deadlines.
Use AutoCAD and other engineering software to support project delivery.
Take ownership of allocated tasks while building strong teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
1–2 years’ experience with an Irish civil engineering contractor.
Previous experience on Irish Civil Engineering projects (essential).
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (3D Civil experience advantageous).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good commercial awareness and professional client-facing skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and IT communication skills.
