Junior Claims Manager
Sydney (preferred), remote achievable
You’ll have the freedom to follow your instincts and make your own decisions that you believe are appropriate.
And you’ll have a strong sense of purpose in the work you do as you act as the claimants advocate to get the best result (not working for the insurer).
Hybrid working means you’ll spend 2–3 days a week in a Sydney office, giving you the flexibility to balance focused home working with face to face collaboration when it counts.

What you’ll do
Working as part of a claims team, you’ll get hands-on experience across the full life cycle of claims, from lodgement to resolution. You’ll speak directly with claimants, gather key information, and work closely with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes.
You’ll start by supporting experienced claims managers, helping with pre-assessment and building your knowledge of how to deliver the best outcomes for claimants. As your confidence grows, you’ll take on more complex cases and start managing your own claims end to end.

What you’ll need

  • 3+ years’ experience in life insurance claims management, covering the full claims process
  • Strong communication skills, so you can clearly explain the process and support claimants when they need it most
  • A real focus on delivering the best experience and outcome for claimants, not just ticking boxes
