We are offering an exciting position within our Emergency Department for a Junior Clinical Fellow.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality emergency care at both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. Working closely with a dedicated team, you’ll be involved in assessing and treating patients who attend the Emergency Department. You’ll also collaborate with various specialty teams and support more junior doctors in their development.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating with the on-call consultant for both clinical and administrative matters, as well as working alongside the nurse in charge to help manage the day-to-day operations of the department. You’ll play a key role in maintaining efficient patient flow and supporting the achievement of the 4-hour ED target—while always prioritising the delivery of safe, high-standard care.

As a valued member of the Emergency Medicine team, you’ll play a key role in delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients across all areas of our emergency assessment unit. This includes minor injuries and illnesses and the resuscitation zone.
You will always have senior support and will not be expected to manage the department independently. We foster a collaborative environment.
