SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
As a successful candidate You should possess the following:
- Experience: At least 2 years of Systems Analyst experience with SaaS products within a healthcare IT environment, preferably with exposure to clinical systems (e.g. RIS and PACS) and workflows.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of clinical information systems (e.g. RIS and PACS), databases, and healthcare IT standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM). Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving system-based issues.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Team Player: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive approach to tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Learning Mindset: Eagerness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
The following would be beneficial but on-the-job training will be provided as required:
- Working knowledge of Lumeon’s Care Pathway Manager, InteleRad PACS products, Mirth Connect Integration Engine, AGFA’s EI PACS, CRIS, EPIC, xWave Technologies and/or Street Heaver’s Compucare SaaS solution.
- Previous experience as a Systems Analyst or a related role, working within a diagnostic imaging services company.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Clinical Systems Analyst to join our Clinical Systems team at the AML Hub in Warwick, to support the rapid growth of our clinical system platforms.
The Clinical Systems Analyst will assist in the maintenance, support and optimisation of clinical systems used within our healthcare organisation. They will be involved in supporting the introduction of new software and solutions as well as evaluating various data sources and user behaviours to improve existing solution functionality for the end users. The post holder will be required to interact with our outsourced IT Service Desk to assist with incident response/resolution and where appropriate fill any knowledge gaps within the Service Desk to increase the chance of first-time fix.
Whilst this role does not entail specific application or vendor ownership, the post holder will need to work with these key individuals on the more technical aspects of system development and management. The post holder will develop an understanding of the clinical IT ecosystem as a whole.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about healthcare technology and eager to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care through effective system management. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of clinical workflows and a keen interest in learning and growing within the healthcare IT field.
