Responsibilities:

  • Inputting measurements into CNC machines and loading raw materials into programmed brake presses to produce custom sheets and metal parts.
  • Following the production schedule and order of operations as instructed.
  • Setting up tools and machines for each new job, using samples as references.
  • Performing periodic checks during production to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Initiating and monitoring the forming process.
  • Inspecting finished products thoroughly to confirm they meet required specifications.
  • Installing and securing holding fixtures and dies to the machine bed using templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
  • Organizing finished products and transferring them to the next production phase.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order of machines, tools, and the work area.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Having previous press brake experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
  • Demonstrating basic computer literacy; AutoCAD knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Showing strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and working under the guidance of a seasoned operator.
  • Being reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
