JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time or part time Junior Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in provincial or above level competitions themselves, and in coaching youth athletes. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and motivating environment that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and athletic excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Provincial or beyond level playing experience.
  • Experience in coaching youths - U11 to U19 age categories.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
  • A passion for teaching and developing others in a supportive environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for practices and competitions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
  • Educate youth athletes on proper techniques, strategies, and lead group programs and private lessons.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring they are engaging, challenging, and productive.
  • Monitor athletes’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Foster a supportive team culture that promotes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
  • Provide coaching support in competitions, ensuring athletes are prepared both mentally and physically.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules, expectations, and performance updates.
  • Great team work ability with other coaching team members, admin team members and management to deliver engaging, fun and instructional programs & lessons for our students.
