Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to build a career in the insurance industry, working closely with clients to manage their commercial insurance needs. The successful candidate will support our senior account managers, handle client inquiries, and contribute to the growth of our commercial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely renewals and accurate policy documentation.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, provide policy details, and resolve issues.
• Prepare and process insurance quotes, applications, and policy changes in collaboration with senior account managers.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate coverage options to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in our agency management system.
• Support marketing efforts to attract new commercial clients and retain existing ones.

• Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory requirements.

  Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in insurance, customer service, or a related field; prior experience in commercial insurance is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn agency management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Insurance license (Property & Casualty) preferred but not required; willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
