Main Purpose:
Galena Asset Management is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Junior Commodity Credit Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day management of one of Galena’s funds, contributing to our continued success and growth.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, Execution and settlement of Credit Facilities.
• Credit facility reviews and daily/weekly portfolio reconciliation.
• Risk and exposure monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in the marketing effort.
• Updating of marketing documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of minimun 3 years in a relevant field, such as fund management, trading, administration, or research, with strong analytical skills.
• Solid understanding risks associated with commodity trade finance
• Proactive and self-motivated, willing to take initiative and contribute innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in additional languages is valuable, enabling effective communication with a diverse client base.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and trust.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including advanced VBA coding
